IELTS
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a globally recognized English Language Assessment. IELTS is designed to test all of your English skills- Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking for study, work and migration. There are two modules of the test- IELTS Academic or IELTS General Training. Both versions of the test consist of four parts-Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. The Listening and Speaking parts are same in both the Academic and General Training, but the Reading and Writing tests are different. IELTS results are graded on the 9-band scale.
PTE
The Pearson Test of English or PTE, is a computer-based English Language proficiency test designed to assess the speaking, listening, reading and writing skills of non-native English speakers. It is designed to meet specific needs, mainly for academic, work or immigration purposes. The main PTE test formats are PTE Academic and PTE General, the former is primarily for student planning to study in English speaking countries, while the latter targets a broader audience seeking general proficiency. All scores in PTE are reported on a scale of 10 to 90 points. 90 is the highest possible score, indicating expert proficiency.
